Texture Artist - All Levels

Synergy Games is a studio established by professionals with more than 15 years of experience in the video game industry. We have worked for companies such as Ubisoft, 2K Games, MercurySteam, Ilion Studios, Konami, Nintendo, Riot Games and Pyro Studios

We are developing Synergy Land, a blockchain multiplayer ARPG game, set in a fantasy world, with NFTs and a blockchain-enhanced economy.

Inspired by popular games, such as Diablo and Path Of Exile, the game aims to combine the best of these worlds where regular and hardcore players will enjoy the gameplay experience as well as an ecosystem for players who want to collect and trade NFTs, giving to the community true ownership of digital assets.

We are seeking all levels of Texture Artist who will contribute to the artistic vision and development of a AAA product with a specialized focus on creating character & environment/level texture assets.

What will you do?

  • Produce stylized textures ( handpainted ) based on provided Highpoly Baked textures and Lowpoly geometry.

  • Modify/improve Lowpoly & Uv’s if required to achieve desired visuals. 

  • Integrate Materials and textures in the game engine (Unreal Engine)

  • Own and verify the quality of your work once imported into the game, and make improvements when necessary

  • Material Application: Apply materials to 3D models and adjust UVs to fit the needs of the textures.

  • Collaborate with our tools department in the development of our art tools and pipeline.


Skills & Requirements


  • From no experience to 4+ years experience creating Textures and Materials

  • Senior Level: Games industry experience with at least two game credits.

  • You have excellent knowledge and experience in texturing environment and character assets

  • Good understanding of volumes, proportions, detail distribution, color and materials composition

  • Experience with Photoshop and Substance Painter/3D Coat textura

  • Very strong sense of layout, composition, graphic design, color.

  • Excellent problem solving skills.

  • Good communication skills in English or Spanish.

  • Serve as an active participant in team discussions, critiques, and reviews

  • Meet production schedules and deadlines




  • Experience with Highpoly stylized modeling in Zbrush

  • Experience in Lowpoly modeling and Uv’s in 3D studio max/Blender

  • Concept Art experience

  • Be a positive and proactive team member in the development process with a keen eye for detail
